Healthy Knees, Hips and Spine with Dr. Rebecca Breslow

Are achy knees, sore hips and/or a creaky spine holding you back from the sports and activities you love? Join Sport and Exercise Medicine Physician Dr. Rebecca Breslow for this 6-week class series and take charge of your own musculoskeletal health! 

Each class will start with a short discussion of a knee, hip or spine condition.  Dr. Breslow will then teach and guide you through mobility, alignment and strengthening exercises, leaving you with a simple routine you can practice at home. Sign up for a single class, or for the whole series.  Dress in clothing you can move in, wear comfortable shoes, and bring the equipment listed below.  You must be able to get up and down off the floor unassisted to participate.

 Class Structure:

·      15 minutes presentation

·      15 minutes foam-rolling, breathing, alignment

·      15 minutes strength and mobility

Week 3 (Jan 29): Hip Tendinitis

Week 4 (Feb 5): Hip Arthritis

Week 5 (Feb 12): Neck Pain

Week 6 (Feb 19): Low Back Pain
